UCA is a bile acid and the 7?-hydroxyepimer of cholic acid (Item No. 20250).{52346} Dietary administration of UCA (0.25%) decreases gallbladder cholesterol, phospholipid, and bile acid levels and the occurrence of gallstones in male mice fed a lithogenic diet.
