SR 12460 is a mimetic of the I?B kinase ? (IKK?) NEMO/IKK?-binding domain (NBD) that inhibits the protein-protein interaction between the IKK complex subunits NF-?B essential modulator (NEMO/IKK?) and IKK?.{55404} It inhibits TNF-?-induced NF-?B activation in a reporter assay when used at concentrations ranging from 25 to 150 µM. It reduces LPS-induced production of IL-6 in RAW 264.7 cells. SR 12460 (30 mg/kg) improves grip strength in the mdx mouse model of Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
