JNJ-42165279 is active in vivo, blocking FAAH activity in brain and periphery of rats and raising concentrations of anandamide (Item No. 90050), oleoyl ethanolamide (Item No. 90265), and palmitoyl ethanolamide (Item No. 90350).{32207} It is also efficacious in the spinal nerve ligation model of neuropathic pain.{32207}
