Propylhexedrine is an ?-adrenergic sympathomimetic amine that acts as a local vasoconstrictor.{23637} It is the active ingredient in some over-the-counter nasal decongestants but may be abused, typically by intravenous or oral delivery of the nasal decongestant.{23637,23638} This product is intended for research and forensic applications. The analysis of underivatized propylhexedrine in human serum using mass spectrometry has been described.{23636}
