AN-2690 is a broad spectrum antifungal agent with MIC values ranging from 0.25-1 ?g/mL against T. rubrum, T. mentagrophytes, C. albicans, C. neoformans, and A. fumigatus.{41073} It inhibits tRNA aminoacylation (IC50 = 2.1 ?M) and hydrolysis of Ile-tRNALeu in a concentration-dependent manner in vitro.{41074} Formulations containing AN-2690 have been used in the treatment of onychomycosis.
