Myelotracker is a cross-species fluorescent marker which targets lactoferrin to enable precise detection of neutrophils in tissues, and inflammation research.
Myelotracker is a peptide-based fluorescent probe designed for the labeling of neutrophils in human and animal samples. By binding to lactoferrin, the major protein stored in neutrophil-specific granules, Myelotracker provides reliable and selective detection of this key immune cell population.
Its dual functionality allows the detection of intracellular granules in fixed samples as well as extracellular lactoferrin released during neutrophil activation, offering unique insights into immune dynamics during infection and inflammation. While optimized for neutrophils, Myelotracker also labels basophils and eosinophils, opening new opportunities for studying granulocyte biology in inflammatory and allergic conditions.
