Luteolin 7-O-glucuronide is a flavonoid that has been found in S. chloroleuca and A. pilosa, and has diverse biological activities, including antioxidant, enzyme inhibitory, and anti-inflammatory properties.{52975,52976,52977} It scavenges DPPH (Item No. 14805) radicals in a cell-free assay (IC50 = 80.6 ?M).{52975} Luteolin 7-O-Glucuronide inhibits porcine ?-amylase and yeast ?-glucosidase in vitro (IC50s = 61.5 and 14.7 ?M, respectively).{52977} It also inhibits rat aldose reductase in vitro (IC50 = 0.7 ?M) and sorbitol accumulation in isolated rat lens by 91.8% when used at a concentration of 5 ?g/ml.{52975} Luteolin 7-O-glucuronide inhibits LPS-induced cytokine release from RAW 264.7 macrophages in a dose-dependent manner.{52976}
