JWH 073 is a synthetic cannabinoid (CB) that activates both the central cannabinoid (CB1) and the peripheral cannabinoid (CB2) receptors (Ki = 8.9 and 38 nM, respectively).{16797} This cannabimimetic compound has been identified in herbal blends.{19508,18621,18334} JWH 073 2’-naphthyl-N-(1,1-dimethylethyl) isomer differs structurally from JWH 073 by having the naphthyl group attached at the 2 position and a 1,1-dimethylethyl group in place of a butyl chain. The biological and toxicological properties of this compound have not been characterized. This product is intended for forensic and research applications.
