Pep2-8 is a peptide inhibitor of proprotein convertase subtilisin kexin type 9 (PCSK9; IC50 = 1.4 µM).{62852} It reverses PCSK9-induced decreases in surface LDL receptor levels and restores uptake of LDL in HepG2 cells in a concentration-dependent manner.
