SU 0268 is an inhibitor of 8-oxoguanine DNA glycosylase 1 (OGG1; IC50 = 0.059 µM).{58865} It is selective for OGG1 over the DNA repair enzymes MTH1, dUTPase, NUDT16, ABH2, ABH3, and SMUG1 at 20 µM. SU 0268 (0.5 µM) inhibits OGG1 and increases the number of 8-oxoguanine DNA lesions in HeLa cell lysates.
