Saikosaponin F is a triterpenoid saponin that has been found in B. chinensis and an antagonist of transient receptor potential ankyrin 1 (TRPA1).{68164} It inhibits calcium flux induced by polygodial (Item No. 14979) or AITC in HEK293 cells expressing human TRPA1 when used at concentrations ranging from 0.5 to 1.5 µM.
